WHAT IS
FOOTBALL 101?
Football 101 was considered one of Cincinnati's premier events by Cincinnati Magazine in 2016. The event brings roughly 500 women to NFL or NCAA Stadiums to teach them about Football.
While it is primarily a major fundraising initiative it was much more than that to those in attendance. It teaches women the in's and out's of football, it provides them an unforgettable night out, it truly engages them with the team and the coaches which strengthened their fandom for their favorite teams, some events also honor breast cancer survivors and most importantly raise significant money for important causes.

THE RUN OF SHOW
The event typically begins around 4:30 pm and wrapped up around 10:00 pm. It starts with an open bar and buffet, a silent auction, random raffle, live auction, Pink Football Award presentation and ends with cupcakes, coffee and cheese coney's! In between is filled with interactive experiences as guests enjoy classroom sessions, breaking down game film, tours of the weight and training rooms, chalk talk in the locker rooms with position coaches and the ever popular, on-field drills which include tackling dummies, kicking field goals, throwing passes and scoring touchdowns.
The event also features either a special guest speaker or a Q & A with the Coach!

Chris Crocker, Andrea Kremer, Rudi Johnson, Chad Johnson, Solomon Wilcots, Shayne Graham, Tony Stewart, Cris Collinsworth, Merril Hoge, Kelly Washington, Melissa and Andrew Whitworth and Laura Okmin.
FOOTBALL 101 GOALS
Football 101 can be used in various ways with several goals in mind
1. The event is great for fan engagement. It gives female fans a deep look into the the life of a football player and coach and lets them explore the stadium in ways they would otherwise never have a chance to. It helps them have a better understanding of how the game is played, the overall strategy and objectives of the game and provides insight on how tough it is to play football.
2. Today women make up half of football fans! This is a great way to show them you appreciate them and want to help educate them even further about the game.
3. With the increase of women in football through refereeing, coaching and reporting/commentating this is a great way to show your commitment to equality within the organization.
